my
journey
My path is like most others–winding with turmoil + turbulence. I didn’t just arrive at being a physician assistant + starting my own business. I went to college really directionless. If I am being honest I went to school to get away from my home life. I had no idea what I was doing. I graduated with a B.A. in psychology + went on to earn a Master of Science in Counseling psychology.
I was basically born an active human. I started lifting weights at the age of 12 + participated in countless sports– mainly softball. While I was in counseling school + worked as a personal trainer for five years. Health + wellness has always had deep roots in my life practices.
After being introduced to the PA profession while I was personal training, I started checking the boxes I needed for a successful application to PA school. Several years later I applied + was accepted.
Not too soon after getting into practice I realized we are taught “diet + lifestyle” are the first line treatment for many disease states; however, little is taught regarding these specifics. This is when I recognized how my past personal + professional experience set me apart from many of my practitioner counterparts. And that conventional healthcare wasn’t for me.
Through personal + professional experiences I have learned the value of incorporating holistic + wellness practices into professional practices.. I like to say that I like to have a diverse set of tools in my tool box in my approach.
My belief + approach is not that one intervention is inherently superior, but simply ensuring we are utilizing the right tool for the job. Sometimes that also requires me to refer you outside of my business. And that is perfectly fine with me— I value getting the individual the proper attention over all.
I am madly passionate about individuals thriving in their lives instead of merely getting by surviving in their health. My goal is to do everything I can to create a world where eating healthy isn’t gawked at, its commonplace for women to understand how their hormones matter to their health, how much sleep matters + that 1200-1600 calories is generally the caloric intake of a toddler.

listen in on strong + unfiltered
We talk about everything from trauma, nutrition, menstrual cycle health, fitness, pregnancy + sometimes it is just great conversation with good friends of mine for entertainment! Whatever you are into, we probably have an episode on it.
